Morning Star Bamboo flooring is carefully manufactured to strict guidelines to ensure that it is free of manufacturing defects. Each wood strip is individually and meticulously inspected both before and after the finishing process to be sure that it complies with Morning Star Bamboo standards. The installer is the final inspection authority and, as such, must conduct the final pre-installation inspection.

If you plan to hire an installer, Morning Star Bamboo recommends that you verify his/her credentials, be certain that he reviews the recommended installation requirements, and, if possible, be present during installation. This will allow you to oversee the installation process and ensure that your floor, once installed, is satisfactory. Please refer to "Installer/Customer Checklist" and other materials designed to help you, the owner, have a successful installation and a serviceable floor. When ordering hardwood flooring, add 5% to the actual square footage needed to finish the project to compensate for any unacceptable boards. When ordering denser/exotic woods, the additional allowance recommended is 8% to 10%. The installer should not install any board showing visible grade, manufacturing or other glaring defect unless he/she is able to hide or trim-off the imperfection to your satisfaction.
